The Voice of Depression.

The face, and voice of depression is one that I have struggled with for a very long time. I have long had an inner critic, who seemed almost exactly like me in every way, but wasn't me. Now, I won't get into the intricacies of what was happening in my mind, but I will say that this project wants you to stare at yourself. Look at yourself, like I did in the mirror all those nights ago, hearing these thoughts. Listen to the overwhelming static in your mind and try to think. This video intends to immerse you in the kind of internal stresses I was feeling with both unresolved dysphoria, and an anxiety diagnosis on the horizon. The voice is based on Laurie Anderson's Voice of Authority. Pitched down, certain, and overpowering.
The worst part about intrusive thoughts is how hard they are to shake.
